I've created numerous projects using FCP and Studio Pro.

I want to take a DVD (music video) that I created, put it in my Powerbook and take the files from the DVD (rip it or whatever) and be able to convert them to mpeg, etc.

How do I do thise

MPEG Streamclip (freeware) can do it ... as well as many other programs.

I used to use DVDxDV, now i use Cinematize. If this is something you find yourself doing often, you should invest in serious software.
