Is it safe to delete speech voices from Mac OS X via Finder?

I never use the feature and it's just sucking up about 700MB of space...

granted I leave one it should be fine, right?
 
Before you do have a listen to the Novelty voices, although they are completely useless as far as I can tell, some of the lines they say are quite comedy, worth a minutes time.
