Software Update

I read on MacRumors last week about an update from Apple - Security Update 2008-002 v1.1 (Leopard) and yet it does not show up when I checked Software Update. I had to download it manually. What gives here?

That was just for Aperture users. If you didn't have Aperture, you didn't have to download the update. It does nothing for non Aperture users.

Oh - I thought it was a Leopard update. Then why would it install as I don't have Aperture?

what??? really?? i installed it on a macbook with no aperture on it!!!
