hi fellas
i ordered my first mac couple of days back. And i dont know much about macs. Can anyone tell me if i can run matlab on it? the matlab i have, used to run on windows. SO do i have to get a different version of matlab (which would be too costly?) or i can somehow use the same one?
appreciate all comments

I have the student version and it says, Mac os, linux & MS windows, nevertheless you need some patches to run it with panther, it should not be a problem, for me works really great.

Mathworks, who makes Matlab, has a version that runs on OS X. Here is the website. (http://www.mathworks.com/products/matlab/requirements.jsp) I'm running Matlab 5, which runs under classic. Perhaps it's time for me to upgrade too....
