Hi,
I'm looking to buy a budget camcorder and was hoping one of you experts would have a look at this one, the Sony DCR-HC62 (http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/729222/art/sony/dcr-hc62-minidv-camcorder.html#fichetechnique), and let me know what you think. I'm just looking for a camcorder that will take nice quality video clips that I can use in iMovie or Final Cut Express (ie for making DVDs of photos/video).
My budget is around E350/$550, so this one is within that.
I'm clueless about formats but it seems like MiniDV might be the best choice for me - do you agree?
Ease of use and size (neat preferably) are factors too.
