No way, it's just some greyscale, how can that hurt your eyes? It's just playing tricks on them. You expect to see one thing and get another.
It's a great prank. Perfect one for Q to pull too (he's colour blind)

When I woke up this AM I sat down to read and thought I went color blind over night. I went back to my night stand to get my glasses. Sat back down and figured out It was not me. (Hahahahaha). I just had a Birthday yesterday and was told I was getting old. Whew.......

Im on a school computer so I thought the screen was messed up, but then I noticed the logo at the top with colours on it... Got me at first, though :D

Second day with my Air here .. still getting used to the glossy screen. Woke up, refreshed MacRumors in my browser and thought "yeah, I really hate glossy -- look how lame these colors look". :o

Yeah, text colours obviously still work, as do colurs on ribbons.

wtf.. i just called comcast and complained that something is wrong with my internet. it's b&w now. they'll send a technician on friday between 12 and 2pm.:D
of course i'm gonna cancel that tomorrow. but it would be great if others call as well and complain to comcast.:p

yes, if you save it and open it on your computer they are still grey

I have to admit that it does pull my eyes a bit after a while, but that also might be because it's the morning for me and I'm still wearing my glasses. :p:o

I think they changed it a bit from how it looked in this morning. It has more contrast (darker shades) now. Looks better than in the morning. :rolleyes:

This would have been so much more delightfully irritating if it was all bright red.
But honestly, this 'theme' should remain if you've already put the work in. It adds a little class. The standard colors are so cheese.

It's funny, when you choose the style "MR 3.5" and you have everything back to "normal" the threads look so calm. I like that calmness.
Blue links and so forth are good enough, but it simply looks good without coloured avatars. Now, if only the top could be made grey as well, while keeping colours on links and names, I would have that as standard skin if I could.

It must have something to do with the browser. Using IE at work, no dice - now that I'm at home using Safari, no problems in changing. :cool:
