Hi,

I have been using PoweMac G4 DP 867 (MDD) for more than 1 year. Some time ago I bought iBook G3. Now i thinking about replacing G3 to G4.

There is another good solution. I can sell both (desktop and laptop) and buy one - PowerBook 15'' with G4 1GHz.

What do you recommend. Will PowerBook be much slower than my PowerMac G4?

Thanks for advices.

Paul

for dual-processor enabled apps, yes, PB will be slower.

for most others, no.

I use only Apps from Macromedia Studio and Microsoft Office. Plus off course some DVD playback and iTunes.

for the stuff you mentioned, PB will be perfectly fine.
