Was hoping someone may have a 7.5 lying around. I could pay $3.85 to cover the priority mail shipping.
I acquired a powermac 6100/66 and in order to put linux on it, I wanted to bring the OS DOWN to 7.5 (consumes less space), but I don't have a CD.
Yes...I could buy the copy on eBay for $5, but $6.50 for shipping is outrageous.
Anyone have a copy they could get rid of?

you may want to check out apple's site.
they've posted a split version of 7.0 and 7.5.3. i think they are both the full system.
check it out at

If that doesn't work it is in disk sized parts on this page.

Didn't realize it was for download.
Is there any easy way to put these all on one CD? Or do I need to make 19 floppies?
Mod: I guess you could move this to software forum, if you wanted.

depending on if you are on a mac or not you could assemble it with stuff it deluxe or disk utility. check apple's site for making "disk images".
