MBA freezing up in system preferences

Hi guys,
Have a little problem, when I to into the system preferences and click on 'keyboard and mouse' it just freezes up the system preferences box and i can't get into it...any suggestions?

I have rebooted and all that sort of stuff, but nothing seems to work. Just want to change my trackpad choices....

Try holding the power button for about 5 seconds to restart the machine. If it continues, I would bring it into the Apple Store to get checked out.
