Everything working except youtube keeps saying I need an edge connection which I have & it's driving me nuts. What can I do now, can I just run another update application on the phone as it is ?

I just did that, and now i get no service what-so-ever on my phone.

Now im praying a restore will fix it.

Are you guys on AT&T or... ? Did you "do it all" or just jailbreak and activate? For whatever reason, I did not have to do anything to get Youtube to work except put in an APN for T-Mobile (my provider). I did have to install the Safari fix to get cookies to work properly, but I think that's the only fix I really had to do....

Well i used ZiPhone, which was the main cause for making YouTube not work.


I also reformatted my computer, forgetting i havent done a backup yet of my iPhone, so now my stuff is gone just because of that youtube fix.

Luckily i have a .txt file with all my phone numbers.

Wow... erm, well, first, I used ZiPhone also. But anyway, I'm impressed that you have your phone numbers in a text file... I don't. :o But then again, I have my phone synced to my computer and redundant backups of my computer's drive.... ;) But how did you get the phone numbers on the iPhone to begin with? You haven't been creating all your contacts manually on the iPhone, have you? That would be dreadful! :(

Yeah :( Over time i added more and more, and recently i put them all (by hand) in a text file.

Just got done adding them all..ugh

buddy for you tube problem using ZIphone i would suggest going to ziphone.org and gettin the latest version of ziphone , it should fix all ur problems..my guess :)
