What's the best way to transfer all my settings, passwords, bookmarks, chat logs, etc. to a new Mac? I know I could just do a restore from old TM backups, but I don't want to clone the old Mac to the new Mac with the same OS and apps state.
Oh and what's the best way to make sure that no sensitive personal information (like passwords in KeyChain) remains on the old Mac without having to restore it to factory settings? (I want the apps I've installed to remain)
