XP SP1 w/ Bootcamp. Yah or Nay!?

All I want to do is run Half Life 2 on my sweet new MBP. I have an SP1 disc but when reading the instructions to install XP via Bootcamp they stated to use a SP2 disc.

Is this Apple just being friendly to Microsoft or do I really need an SP2 disc to install XP properly? Why can't I just update my XP1 via the service pack download!? Why do I always burn my toast!?!!! I need answers!!! PLEASE!

Search for how to slipstream SP2

You need SP2. google slipstream.

nay. the keyboard doesnt work in the Windows installer. i ended up slipstreaming an SP2 disc with it that came with my old PC.
