iPod The end of the $100 case?

In The Netherlands they are still shipping within 24 hours.. Those things where doomed from the start, 100 dollars for a case. Wtf.

People pay even more, but the case is going to have to come from Louis or Prada or Coach or someone of that status... 😉
It would have to have a designer brand.
Just thought of a sick idea:
supposing they made a case for iPod shuffle by a designer brand, perhaps that went on the wrist with studs and it sold for higher than Shuffle. I know there are sick people on Earth who would buy it...

i have that case for my ipod classic, really love it, it fits so well and it has a very slim profile too. I had one of those belkin flip cases for my video, and this one was almost have the size. now its completely beaten up, and my ipod still looks like the day I bought it (the older video). You can drop it, throw it around, and it wouldn't hurt the ipod, really durable.
of course I would never pay 100 for a case, but 50 is doable 😀

Apple doesn't make any iPod or iPhone cases that I know of. Don't go blaming them for such craziness.
FWIW, I couldn't find a single case for an iPod that cost more than $39.95 on Apple's Web site (although a lot of them didn't load). Most cases, even leather ones, cost about $30.
Let just say I bought a refreshed ipod for a friend for a Christmas gift and she spent just as much on the Coach case than I paid for the ipod. Ouch.
