Ok guys, so I got my iPhone for Xmas last year (2k7) and I have firmware 1.1.4. Ive got it activated via ATT legitimately and everything.
I'm wondering, what options do I use to keep it looking as legit as possible (ATT original keys). Also, do I need to do anything to prevent it from bricking my phone and letting me use the 2.0 firmware when it comes out?
Any precautions? Should I just wait till 2.0?
Sorry there are lots of questions. Im sorta a n00b at this.

sooo.... someones just gonna tell me to search and thats it?
I looked on the ZiPhone site and it doesnt really have much information regarding my situation and this new version. How dangerous is ZiPhone?

my advice is to leave ziphone alone, its not the best solution now.
Search for pwnage by the iPhone dev team it is definitley the ideal solution for u

pwnage?
hmm i just read all about that stuff and realized that ZiPhone isnt the way to go definately.
I was thinking iLiberty.
But ive got a question, Why is there a YouTube fix? What gets broken if I do this? All I wanna do is a basic jailbreak that would allow me to install 3rd party applications. For now. I may wanna unlock it to be able to use it when I fly to europe this summer, but ill leave it alone for now.
What do you think?
pwnage still idea?

hmm ok so im kinda stoked on this iPwnage Tool. I downloaded it and now I dont know what to do.
It says browse .ipsw files.
So do I just find the restore image of my iphone in itunes and use that?
How do I use pwnage to create an unlocked/jailbroken version of my phone.
Are there already made images that have all kinda of goodies on them already?
Do I need to do any command-line stuff or building?
