I seem unable to set a default view in my documents subfolders (sort by name). I have to go into every subfolder and change the order manually. Isn't there a way of doing this from the parent directory? I can't find the tool to reorder the folder and all its subfolders. 🙁

right click in a Finder window and choose Show View Options. Set it how you like it and select "Use as default."
