Downloads Folder in Stacks Problem

I think I may have deleted a .localized file from my Downloads folder sitting in my Stacks.

Now, when I view the downloads folder in Fan Mode only, I get no images of the files and folders within. all I get is 2 ghostly type lines for each file or folder and they don't have names either.

All the files and folders inside open fine and this problem is only in Fan Mode.

What can I do to restore the Fan Mode back to normal?

If you mean the Downloads folder located in your User folder, the simplest fix is this:

Quit all web browsers and other applications that use the Downloads folder
Move the download folder's contents, if any, elsewhere
Delete the existing folder, then create a new one with the name Downloads
Mac OS X should, as if by magic, give it the downloads icon
Move all the stuff you moved earlier to the new folder
