Computer hard drive wiped, how to transfer all of music, photos back to Mac?

I recently lost everything on my macbook.

Some of my music and photos from iphoto are thankfully saved on my iphone. is there a way to transfer this date back to my iphoto and itunes without losing it on my phone as well?

I don't know about the photos, but Senuti (http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/) should work for the music (maybe photos too, I haven't used it in a while). I would think that Contacts and iCal should handle their part in updating/syncing their part.

You need the beta version for the iPhone.

I tried this with the beta version yesterday without any joy, seems that they are still working a few kinks out. I do wonder if the firmware on the phone matters, mine is the most recent.
