I have it as well. Just a little gun shy to try it out. Anyone try it yet?

That's my only fear as well. I was looking into how to save old back up files first.

i was under the impression that 2.0 update the devs are using has the phone portion disabled. In other words if you install 2.0 you wont be able to make calls or receive text.

There was supposedly one floating around as an April fools joke, so I'd be careful.

The one that I have is legit. Working fine. (Of course I tried it on my buddies phone... he was up for the challenge.) ;)

As everyone else is saying where did you get it as even if it is a reliable source, if it isn't official well yes, god knows what it is.

search the torrent sites, shouldn't be too tough to find. I know it's floating around piratebay

How sure are you you will be able to restore to a previous firmware or update to the final firmware when officially released? Dont do it, especially if you have an iPhone contract coz apple will snatch their warranty back whenever something goes wrong with iPhone.
With a JB iPhone MAYBE...
