calling display

Hey guys
i just want to ask about the iphone calling display.
i find it random one time i get a call and the person picture display is a small box and then its the whole screen the next call how do i keep it in the small display

If you take associate a picture that you took on your iPhone with a contact, it will be big. If you associated the picture on your computer, it should be small. All of my pictures came from Outlook Contacts and are all small.
