2.16 MBP Intel Core Duo

I'm sorry for making a separate thread for this but I've been having a pretty rough time trying to figure out what type of Ram to get. I am using a 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo Macbook Pro currently with 1 GB of ram. According to the Wikipedia link on the thread lobby for this section it says I can have a max of 2 GB ram for MBP's with the Core Duo. Is this true? If so which type of Ram do I need? Does 667 MHz DDR2 (PC2-5300) SO-DIMM sound right? If that is right will any pair of 1 GB Ram cards work or is there a specific type I should buy?

that is true, 2gb is the max for core duo macs, the type of ram you need is DDRII memory with support for DDR2 PC2-5300 speeds that is sodimm. I recommend crucial as they guarantee compatibility if you select you macbook model. Also, depending on the ram configuration now you may need to replace both your modules.
