Just yesterday, my MBA seemed to develop a hot pixel on the lower left side of the screen. Funny thing is, it is not visible on a black background - but sort of stands out against white.
Anybody have any tips on "curing" this?

The only solution is to learn to live with it.

If you're within your 15 days return policy, don't bother and just return the MBA to the store for an exchange. If they refuse to exchange it, ask for a refund. Having a stuck or dead pixel on a such tiny screen on an expensive laptop like this one in 2008 is simply unacceptable.

If you're using "Aurora" (the purplish sky background that's the default for Leopard), you might mistake some of the stars for hot pixels. I thought I had a bad pixel in the menu bar to the right of "Edit" but it was the desktop background.
