Ok guys. I'm working on pimping out my mac with no applications. Just Finder X, and photoshop. So I customized pretty much everything on my mac. but I can't find the damn menu bar icons ANYWHERE! I hit show package contents on everything inside /system/library/coreservices/ and still... nothing. Any help as to where abouts these are located. I NEED FEEDBACK!!

menu bar icons?

the Apple ones are in /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras. show package contents on the .menus to access the icons.

the third party ones are either inside the app in the Applications folder e.g. "Alarm Clock" (again show package contents) or in the Application Support folder e.g. iStat Menus.

what I mean by this is the background for it. (I'm making a mac based os called Spotlight os, and I'm working on the UI)

Like the striped aqua bar at the top. (in panther)
