Airport Base Station - USB printing

The Airport Base station supports clients running OSX 10.2+ to print to the device attached to the US port.

I have an Epson Photo 895 (785EPx in US I think) and it relies on a bi-directional link. In particular the Status Monitor provides information on ink levels and whether or not the printer is out of paper.

If I have theis printer attached to the Airport Base station, will this feed through information from the printer?

yes it will, i have that printer on airport. the printer acts the same, the airport just lets your printer be used the same without wires.

edit: ok im sure, i just rememberd i havent used my printer in forever. if someone doesnt answer before me ill check this out when i get home.
