macOS UIPickerView glitches/gets stuck with no item selected in the center

I am looking at the UIShowcase and checking out the UIPickerView and I noticed if you scroll all the way to the end of list and furthur (or all the way to the top of the list and furthur) the picker sometimes gets stuck and no item will be auto centered in the picker.

Is this just a problem within the iphone emulator?

Can this happen on the actual IPhone?

I have not seen it on the simulator and I have a picker type in my app that is used alot. I would send a bug off to apple to check out...
