Fuzzy Screen

Hi there
My MacBOok Pro 15.4" inch has recently gotten a bit fuzzy (I can actually notice it by seeing the texts being fuzzy, and images not being sharp).
I have set the resolution to the max in the display.
What is wrong?

ive had this same problem just recently and im trying to find out how to fix it

I've got the same problem (brand new MBP 2.4Ghz). My screen is a 9c84. Considering getting an exchange.

i figured it out try doing this it worked for mine

shut down the computer not restart it
then turn it on (restarting wont work)

then after everything is loaded take a mouse (or if you have the two finger scroll set up which can be done in system preferences>keyboard&mouse>trackpad>trackpadgestures>twofingerscroll)
while holding the ctrl button scroll in with the scroll wheel(or two fingers on trackpad and push forward) till you can no longer "zoom" in then "zoom" out by holding control and scrolling back(slide fingers towards you) "zoom" all the way out and it should have refreshed it

then to be safe restart or shutdown the mac and it should no longer be fuzzy

I am a complete newbie to the mac world, and recently got my new unibody MBP. I was wondering how the multitouch feature causes the screen to be fuzzy since my MBP is demonstrating this "fuzzy display". Also, I was wondering if there is a way to check the display manufacturer/part number.

hold the control button and scroll up with 2 fingers to zoom and down to zoom out, not sure about the finding the number

Bryan, thanks for the advice. It seems my screen was on standard zoom, but I still see some "fuzziness". It appears as if the refresh rate is too high or there is some sort of EM interference. Its a very light flicker, but my eyes notice it and its kinda straining....

In that case I would take it in to an apple store and have them look at it.

This thread caused me to do a little testing on that zoom functionality. It turns out that if you only zoom in a little, what might be considered accidentally, after a second or two of taking your hands off the keyboard it will revert back to normal. If you zoom in a lot it stays zoomed in. Pretty clever.
