I got this message today while trying to boot up my Macbook Pro:

It didn't boot up, but I forced shut down and turned it on again and it worked fine, but I'm concerned over my data.

huge image! please place give it timg tags by putting a 't' in front of the 'img' in the image tags. 🙂

try booting while holding option and then select your hard drive from the boot selector.

if that doesnt work try resetting the PRAM by booting while holding "command-option-P-R" for 2 startup chimes.
