Empty folders on external harddisk (pc/xp)

Hi

I have a problem with my external hd from my old Windows XP laptop. When I connect the hd to my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.4.11) it shows up and it seems to work, but it won't display the content of my music folder!? I have installed all software updates but it has not changed anything 🙁
