Console version

Without wishing to appear too keen :) I had another question. Is the console version better, or is there no difference.
And would anyone (kindly, to a folding newbie) explain what all this tinker and gromacs stuff is about. And also whether I will be getting the best (altivec) performance out my machine with the gui 3.2.5?

As for console/graphical/screensaver I find the graphical is best for windows because it will run in the sys tray and automatically puts itself in the start folder as well.

For mac I forget which one I have installed, but I think you need to use the console if you are using mc68k's scripts.
