Does MBA 64GB SD option seem horribly overpriced?
For $499 you get a cute mini computer WITH 64GB SD.

Pretty interesting. Yes, the 64GB SSD does seem a bit overpriced now, but given what you recieve for your cash in the first place (tiny ass computer and fast CPU given it's enclosure) I'm not going to complain. But then again I'm not going to buy one either :p well, at least not this generation.

Its gotta be a typo, I've seen elsewhere the 2133 listed with a 4GB SSD.

The article is misleading. Earlier it says there is a 64gb option, and then later describes the $499 model as "the... SSD version." However, the $499 model includes a 4gb SSD, not a 64gb SSD.

$499 gets you linux and a 4gb flash drive.

$799 gets you Vista and a 120gb HDD.

Both have a god awful cyrix c7 processor.

The new HP machine has the potential to be a good EEE competitor, but for my use I am very happy with the Air.

yup, here's the link on hp website: http://h71016.www7.hp.com/dstore/ctoBases.asp?BEID=19701&ProductLineId=539&oi=E9CED&FamilyId=2769&LowPrice=%24729.00&LowBaseId=23430&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

while it's cool for a pc, i wouldn't exchange my Air for it!! :D

Interesting concept. Price goes up with 64GB SSD option.

Would still prefer the MBA.
