Slow down CD in MBP - to noisy for listening to music

hi Guys! my cd drive (in penryn mbp) is quite noisy when listening to CDs.. cannot stand it😉 do u know any software to slow down the rotation /speed of the drive??

in Win or Linux its super easy..via Nero CD or eject command line..but Mac? really, for this price its a joke..im considering to give it back..

You could rip your CDs to iTunes. In your itunes preferences you can select the quality and format of the rip as well.

I thought this was 2008? People still listen to cd's?


rip that thing man takes all of 1minute and then you can use your optical drive for other things while listening to the music. 😉
