The Developer CD has X Tools on it, so when you install from that CD you'll have all the programming tools you need along the normal OS

i'm not sure about retail vs student.

Did these come in one box, or did you just umm, aquire them

okay well in that case, the Developer Version is just what i mentioned earlier, packaged with X Tools

the student version is the same as the retail version, it just says student release in the terms and agreement. So technically your not supposed to do anything on your computer that would make you money using this OS ... because it is EDUCATIONAL, you use it to Learn, Blah , blah, blah....

toss the student version aside and then decide if you plan on doing any programming on your computer, if so install developer, if not, just install the retail...

NOTE, you can install X tools later if you want... it doesn't have to be part of the original install

They are all the same, just the titles are different because you pay different prices for each. Just sell two of them if you want and use one to install and keep around.

If the developer version was mailed to you because you do any coding, I'd install that one so that you have the most stuff to play with.

Otherwise, pick one, sell two.
