If you jailbreak an iPhone can you write software that can take advantage of the Bluetooth? From what I understand with the released SDK's from apple there is no access to the Bluetooth when writing apps.

Just a question.

Thanks,

I'm not even sure anyone has hacked anything into the Bluetooth profiles using the toolchain. I would be that people have tried before as it's definitely a requested feature from the community.

You're right in saying that the official SDK offers no way to tweak Bluetooth.

We are working on building a stepper motor that is controlled via blutooth. The goal would be to have this happen on the iPhone/iTouch which I hear has no bluetooth. Right now we will have to use a laptop but it would be sweet to use an iphone.
