Hey Guys,

My uncle sent me a spreadsheet that he wanted to put a background too. I wanted to use an Apple wallpaper that is in the system preferences as one of the backgrounds.

1. How do I get the wallpaper out of the system preferences window?
2. How would I use this picture and put it as a background?

Thanks

Bingo. This is where desktop backgrounds are stored as files, and you can add your own here as well.

Thanks, I ended up taking a snapshot of the spreadsheet and using photoshop to set it as a background. :)

I tried to add my own folders in that directory but it seems the folders don't show up. Is that supposed to be how it works?

For now I've just copied my wallpaper images into one of the existing folders and that seems to work just fine.
