Firmware

What do you mean?

Is it safe thing to do? Yes.

But always have a good backup available.
 
what I mean........yesterday it was reported that there was a series of firmware updates, but when I went to software update nothing was there.
I guess what I'm asking is that will my computer let me know if I need the firmware updates or should I just download them?
