View Full Version : SVN+SSH issues

Hi all, I'm having trouble getting my SVN+SSH desired configuration up and running... Here's some background...

For the private/public key, I am migrating from another machine so I already have the private key. I used ssh-add to add it to my identities and I can ssh no problem now. So that works... And yes, my key has a passphrase on it.

If I use Syncro SVN Client, it lets me manually choose a key / passphrase and I can browse the SVN repo without any problem.

HOWEVER, I much prefer SNVX... Open source, nicer interface, etc. Well, when I enter in my svn+ssh paths and such in SVNX, it doesn't let me choose my key or enter a passphrase, so i think it just goes to system defaults or whatever, but I get the following error: Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-with-mic).
svn: Connection closed unexpectedly

Anyone know how to properly configure this? Obviously my SVN+SSH connection is working perfectly as I can browse the repo w/ Syncro, but I can't get SVNX to work properly with it. I have googled for hours with no real success, and I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on this.

As far as using the program SSHKeychain, when I run the script it says the installer failed and is rather buggy. So I'd prefer to avoid that and just get everything setup in the terminal.

What happens if you just do it in the terminal?
