Hello guys,

I have this PowerBook I've been trying to move on out for a while. Basically the logic board needs to be replaced, if not other things. Upon trying to boot one day it just froze, when restarted it wouldn't turn on. If plugged in you will hear a high-pitched noise from the computer, if you press the power button this will stop. The machine does not work. It was heavily used back in the day so the casing is scuffed up and bent in some places. The LCD screen did work despite a dead pixel and some marks/scratches/scuffs on the screen, I'd say it's in fair condition. :)

I am selling it for parts. Please note some items and parts may be missing since this has been hanging around for a while. I'll include everything I can find, if I find more parts I will take more photos of them.

I'm open to offers, but I was thinking around the $100 range or so since the LCD screen, AirPort card and DVD drive should still work. Still these items are all AS-IS. Good for somebody who needs parts or knows their way around fixing laptops.

Here are the specifications:
-PowerPC G4 CPU @ 867MHz
-128MB DDR RAM Built-In (One open slot)
-32MB On-Board nVidia video chipset
-Bluetooth 1.1 & AirPort Extreme 802.11g Wireless
-AC Power port, 56k Modem, Ethernet 10/100, FireWire, USB 1.1 (2 ports), Audio In/Out, Mini-VGA port

Parts included:
-12" LCD Screen
-CPU / Logic Board & casing
-Battery / DC Board (x2)
-Keyboard
-Top Case/Trackpad
-Bottom Case
-DVD-R 1X SuperDrive
-AirPort Extreme 802.11g Wireless Card
-PowerBook G4 Battery (x3) Unknown if working - it's been a while
-Screws, keyboard keys (the ones missing in the photo), other misc small parts.

No Hard Drive, Power Adapter, or additional RAM is included.

I'm located in central NJ, USA. I can ship within the US if interested. I can accept PayPal and money orders. More photos taken upon request, if you have any questions let me know. Thanks! :D

I'd be interested in one of those batteries if you could somehow see if they still hold a charge and for how long.

I'm sorry, but since the PowerBook no longer works I can't see if any batteries work or hold a charge. I remember the last time I used it two batteries held a small charge. The third battery I bought afterwards, it's condition is unknown.

This AirPort card is not compatible with the G3 iMac. It's an AirPort Extreme card (802.11g).
