iPod iPod socks fake? w/photo

Although they work well enough, are some iPod socks fake or was there simply a design change? They're a rip-off at the Apple store but other outlets have them much cheaper (by as much as 75%) but there are differences in design

Below is the style of socks i have (and many other websites seem to stock), the Apple logo is orientated differently.

98p for the pack was a good deal then! (although there was the usual extortionate £4 postage charge), i certainly don't recommend paying £19 from the official store (UK)
