I have a HP Deskjet F2120 which is connected to my PC. I could very easily locate the printer and add it to my list of printers via the windows tab. However when I proceed to trying to print a document on my mac.

I have attached 2 files: the initial error message and the log.

I am very pissed. I am contemplating getting a new printer to solve this problem, to directly connect to my mac instead of going through a router. Thanks in advance

HP is notorious for their poor Mac support. Don't throw your printer out yet. Try the Gutenprint drivers. They are free, opensource, and good. Google gutenprint.

My printer is not listed in the supported printers section 🙁 I hope some fellow users can come up with a solution.

Anyone has any solution just yet?

I reinstalled the leopard drivers but it just still won't print, I have half the mind to buy a new Canon printer now.

Mac USB ports may be the problem.

The advice at gutenprint is that although the driver is sending the right messages, the Mac USB ports can't transmit them.
