Dual monitor black out

Is there any way to stop the secondary monitor in a dual monitor set up to stop blacking out during World of Warcraft, or possibly other games for that matter?

Its incredibly frustrating!

I don't have too much experience with WoW, but one thing you could try is running it in a windowed mode? Check if it has settings for that.

Go to the WoW mac support forums.

Also, I think that games may have to specifically support a dual monitor set up in order for them to work with it.

For anyone was wondering, i found the answer in the WoW forum archive.

You need to go to video options and select windowed mode, and then maximized. It is exactly the same as full screen except the other screen in dual monitor doesn't remain black.

is it an extension then? Do you have a greater field of view?
