Lost Partition

Ok, so, was about to commit the crime of installing Windows Vista on my macbook.

Went thru bootcamp, made the 8gig partition, it then said I had to restart, I restarted, nothing happened and I lost the partition that I made.

It doesnt show this 8gig partition in Disk Utility, nor finder or anywhere else.

Any idea how I can get it back?
