gpsPhone wifi problems?

so i did the command to let me be able to save gba games:
chown -hR mobile /var/mobile

and ever since ive had a hard time getting the internet. i'm at school, so usually when i try to get to any page, it redirects me to sign onto the school network deal. i wasnt having any problems with this till now. has anyone else had problems like this?

Bad luck?

Maybe the school changed their stuff, so you have to login. I can't see what your describing about gpSPhone having anything to do with the school network.

how did you type in the command to save your games? I use a mac and am using fugu which is like winscp but i dont know where to type in the command...?
