Itunes no longer recognizes touch

First off it thinks its an iphone and then it keeps telling me to reconnect and thats not working, i just got a bunch more songs i want to add, any ideas

and yes, it is jailbroken

try reinstalling itunes, even if you just reinstalled it recently....... or try in another mac..

Have you updated recently? I know some of my songs wouldn't play until I did the update and then it worked.

try restarting your computer.

If worst comes to worst, throw it into recovery mode, and restore from there.

first off, im on windows (macs are oo hackable for me), but i did try another pc with an older version of itunes and it works on that, so im going to reinstall it on my main machine and hope it works
