Can I get detailed info about video files?

In the same way I can get EXIF info about a digital photo, can I get info about a video file.

Using 'get info' I can see the file size, but can I find the resolution, bit rate etc?

Have you checked the 'info' of the file in Finder? It shows resolution and codec.
