In installer when i try to add a new source, i type 2 letters and it freezes!!

I've tried both ijailbreak and ziphone... i am using a mac and it's on my 8gb ipod. It not only freezes when in installer, but anytime i try to use the keyboard ie. in safari or anywhere else!!

just had a quick google and found this:

Ok, after you restored just set up your ipod instead of quiting itunes directly after the restore. Just give your ipod a name.

Jailbreak, and it should work!

IMPORTANT: CHOOSE "CONFIGURE AS NEW IPOD" AND GIVE IT A NEW NAME

SO i need to re-store my ipod again??
