At first I got no sound at all. Then I downloaded the Open Al program. Then I downloaded the patch that updates the game to the most recent version -- I think it's 1.4.2. Now I have sound, but it's awful -- the guys at the beginning sound like they're talking in slow motion under water. I don't know whether the other audio is also bad, because I don't know what the game sounds like when it's working properly.

I'm running this on a Power Mac G5 Quad, 4 gigs of Ram, 4x2.5 GHz processors, a GeForce 6600 video card and a Presonus Firebox audio card. OS 10.4.11.

Anybody know what's causing this problem and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Giraut

I think that your audio card is making the problem. Have you checked the sound settings? Make sure the Dolby Surround feature is off, and that the game does not use the features of your sound card. Post back if you still have problems.
