I've heard alot of things about this thing about bricking peoples iPod/iPhone.

What is it?

iPwnage hacks the bootloader of the iPod touch so it can run unsigned firmware (Firmware not made by Apple). Right now, there's not much need for it other than to run beta 2.0 firmware, but in the future, you will be able to run customized Apple firmware and even other operating systems.
