thats pretty damn freaky. but youtube wouldnt allow a video like that if it was real. some of the comments seem to suggest this is a horror movie and it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXP8AhTzy9E.

I just watched it twice. After all that I couldn't stop laughing. This has to be a joke, and I'm a hater of thrillers I'll have you know.

Is that movie available for rent? I checked blockbuster.com and netflix and both said unknown for when available. It was a 2007 movie so I think it'd be out by now.

Just looks like another Blair Witch type of crap movie.

The one thats actually good. :)

Apr 13, 2008, 11:10 AM
It's a movie. I've seen it, or at least the part of it I didn't walk out of. It's a terrible attempt at a Blair Witch sort of thing, a fake documentary that can't decide if it wants to be disturbing or absurd and in the process manages to be neither scary nor funny.

Apr 13, 2008, 11:14 AM
Well it made me laugh, and I hate horrors.
You haven't seen the "interview" segments. Or the more absurd of the videotape segments. I spent more of the movie trying to figure out what the filmmakers were expecting me to feel about this movie than I did actually feeling anything about this movie.

The only movie that really ever scared me, like to the point that when I stopped watching it around 1 I had to turn on all my lights and just walk around my apartment, was 2001: A Space Odyssey. Creeped me out.

Reminded me of the part in Pulp Fiction where Bruce and Ving get kidnapped into that storeowners basement. Then they take that guy out of the chest and tie him to the ceiling. (I only mean the character looks similar... nothing about scariness). That part was so weird.

Zed: Bring out the Gimp.
Maynard: But the Gimp's sleeping.
Zed: Well, I guess you're gonna have to go wake him up now, won't you?
:D QT refers to that scene as the Sodomy/Rape scene.

When you are married, everything is there for both sexes. So I don't think you can assume woman just because of the box of Tampax is showing.

Chalk me up for another one that enjoyed V for Vendetta. I like the message that you shouldn't take the government's crap and that you should stand up for your rights and the rights of others. (No political debating please)

I agree 100%. Except for the implication that the attempts of V for Vendetta to portray that were worth watching.
In any case, we'll save that for another thread.
