is there a way to just tap the screen or something similar to unlock the ipod touch without having to use the scroll thing? I am on 1.1.4
please advice thanks.

Sorry I don't think there is, atleast not that I know of. I too have 1.1.4. Is it such a burden? :P

As of right now, no. And unless some third-party app comes out that disables the slider, I think it will be there for the duration of the iPod Touch's life.
I like it though, I think it's an awesome way to unlock it.

if you have customize 2.0, avalible in the installer, dl taptounlock, apply, and voilą, tap to unlock :D

in the installer app, I have all the sources possible on, so it should show up, if not, there is one not on the installer

I found customize 1.21 but it doesn't seem to work with 1.1.4 any suggestions on where to get 2.0 I tried adding that source but no luck.

well that's odd, for me the customize 2.9 package says ipodtouched.com at the top... But ste probably has it, he has everything:rolleyes:
