When i click on a program out of the dock, it appears in the dock, bounces, then disappears. If it's inside the dock, i click it, it bounces, then just stops.

does this happen with every application or just some
download a new program from the internet and see if that runs
if it does all of your programs are corrupt
if it doesn't than you should try a reformat

how do i reformat?
will it still have the OS on it? and the factory-loaded programs?
and it does, aim's running right now.
i even tried resetting permissions, but i just installed this Verizon assistant program, and that dissappears.
so does firefox.
