macOS need help installing BouncyCastle

I am pretty much a layman when it comes to programming and computers so please keep that in mind. I just want to install the BouncyCastle API. I plan on programming in Visual Studio but i don't know yet. I was wondering if anyone can help me install the BouncyCastle API (the zip is located at http://www.bouncycastle.org/download/crypto-139.zip) . I open it and there are so many files, I don't even know what to do with.
